Steve Kerr discusses his worst experience with Draymond Green, revealing that during a practice altercation in 2022, Green “crossed the line.”
Over the course of ten years of professional relationships, forward Draymond Green and Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr have experienced both successes and setbacks. In 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022, they have jointly celebrated four NBA titles, cemented Green’s place as a cultural figure in the basketball community.
But the connection hasn’t always been easy; there have been trying periods because of Green’s erratic behavior, which has occasionally affected the squad. A notable low moment happened on October 5, 2022, when Draymond Green attacked Jordan Poole, who was then his teammate, during a practice. When Steve Kerr appeared on The Dan Le Batard Show, he discussed his views regarding the incident.
Even if he has somewhat calmed down, his on-court behavior has remained erratic ever since the Poole incident. The Warriors had to deal with his behavior on a regular basis since he had been suspended for two long periods of time for in-game activities that the NBA found inappropriate.
Despite his tendency to be a loose cannon, the Warriors will need to rely heavily on his defense in the upcoming season if they hope to improve on their previous subpar showing. The Portland Trail Blazers will be the opponent the Warriors face on the road to start the season.
On The Tonight Show, Jayson Tatum makes jokes about Draymond Green’s future in the WWE.
As part of his hectic schedule, Jayson Tatum participated in a tour to promote his new children’s book, just after winning gold in Paris. He therefore stopped by Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. He was asked to identify an NBA player who may succeed in a second career as a WWE wrestler during the interview.
