The Southeastern Conference is well renowned for being the dominant league in sports, especially football. But with the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas joining the league recently, the total number of students in the SEC has surpassed 600,000.

Some of the biggest universities in the nation are located in the SEC. There are more than 30,000 enrolled students at 13 of the 16 SEC schools. A typical SEC school has 37,912 enrolled pupils. With enrollments this high, it seems sense that the SEC has some of the biggest college football stadiums in the nation.

Both graduate and undergraduate students are included in the enrollment statistics. We utilized the enrollment figures from each school’s SEC media guides for the 2024 college football season. The majority of these enrolment figures come from the academic year 2023–2024.
