Four people face charges in connection with a drug trafficking investigation in Collingwood that police say led to loaded, semi-automatic handguns being seized.
Investigators found suspected drug traffickers in Owen Sound and Collingwood, according to provincial police.
Two Mississauga residents, one from Milton and one from Scarborough, both in their 20s, were taken into custody on Tuesday, according to police, following a well-planned operation.
Nearly 70 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of fentanyl, two guns, money, and drug paraphernalia were allegedly taken by the officers.
The four defendants are currently being prosecuted on several counts of narcotics possession and firearm offenses.
