Jarryd Hayne, a former NRL star, is back in rugby league, making him one of the sport’s most controversial figures.
Due to an appeal, Hayne’s conviction was overturned, and he was released in June after serving the previous two years in prison on a sexual assault charge.
Now, in anticipation of the impending Pacific Bowl series, he has been invited to coach at the Fijian national team’s camp.

Hayne is returning to the NRL to support the country he once played rugby 7s for, following a 12-year career that included numerous State of Origin and national team calls-ups.
Hayne remarked on Monday, “It’s awesome.”
“We watched the 2008 World Cup team documentary while driving to the airport yesterday. The squad was following us around the village. 16–17 years has been a long journey.
We’ve gone from army barracks to five-star hotels. We’ve made great progress. Looking back is always a nice thing.

Wise Kativerata, the Fijian coach, brought Hayne in.
He initially believed I was making a joke. However, consider his accomplishments in rugby league. Furthermore, we want him to be involved since he is a Fijian guy. It’s fun for him.
