Breaking News: Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Officially Welcome Another Top Talented Star To The Squad…….

TE Nathan Agyemang Commits to Georgia Tech

GoJackets.com caught up with Nathan Agyemang ahead of his commitment to Georgia Tech.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have added a versatile offensive weapon to their 2026 recruiting class, landing hybrid tight end Nathan Agyemang from Kell High School (Marietta, GA). The 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight end is rated as a three-star prospect (88), the 32nd-rated player at his position, and the 68th overall player from the state of Georgia.

GoJackets.com caught up with Agyemang before he made his decision official via social media.

Agyemang has lined up as a wide receiver and a tight end in high school, excelling in both. His versatility and tremendous upside made him a priority for the Yellow Jackets throughout this process. The coaching staff made that fact clear to him from the very beginning.

“It’s just love over there,” he said about why he chose the Yellow Jackets. “Since the first time I stepped foot on campus back in February, Coach Key and Coach Faulkner and the whole staff made it known to me that they want me. They made it clear that I’m their guy.”

He feels comfortable with the relationships that he has developed throughout the staff, but particularly with his position coach, Nathan Brock. He says the plan they laid out for him gets him excited about getting to The Flats.

“Coach Brock is my guy, him and Coach Faulkner,” Agyemang said. “Offensive scheme-wise, with the tight end, they show a lot of great stuff. The guys before me have shown increased production, and their plan for me is great. I can be hybrid and step out wide or be inline. I can be versatile [at Georgia Tech].”

The increased exposure in the Yellow Jacket offensive, plus the development Agyemang feels he can experience off the field, led him to make this decision with confidence.

“I had to think about my future,” he said. “I want to develop in the right program where I can come out a better man and a better football player by the end of it.”

Overall, he says it’s not just a recruiting pitch from Brent Key and the Georgia Tech coaching staff. Agyemang believes it’s ingrained in the culture there, and that’s ultimately something he decided he needed to be a part of.

“As a coach, [Brent Key] knows what he’s doing,” he continued. “And he’s got good people around him on that staff and in the building. You’ve seen how they’ve been on the rise these last two seasons, and I think this year and next year with everyone we have coming in, we can really do something special.”

Agyemang also considered Duke and NC State in his final group of schools. He will be enrolling early at the end of his senior season this fall.

“This is the best decision for me and my family. This is God’s plan,” Agyemang finished. “I’m ready to put my head down and work. Coming in, I have expectations for us, for now and the future.”
