Scotland Women’s Head Coach Bryan Easson has picked eight players and one positional change to the starting XV for Scotland’s last Vodafone Series encounter against Fiji on Saturday, September 14 at Hive Stadium, kickoff 4.45pm.
Anne Young and Elliann Clarke make their Scotland debuts as loosehead and tighthead prop, respectively, with Lana Skeldon playing hooker.
The only change in the second row is that Louise McMillan will join Sarah Bonar in the engine room.
Captain Rachel Malcolm and Rachel McLachlan will work together in the back row, with Jade Konkel anchoring the scrum at number eight.
Meryl Smith has moved from centre to stand-off and will be partnered by Caity Mattinson, who has returned from a neck injury suffered against Ireland in the Guinness Six Nations earlier this year.
Lisa Thomson, who played in her second Olympics for Great Britain Sevens, returns to the XV as inside centre, with Emma Orr wearing number 13.
Coreen Grant, Chloe Rollie, who scored twice against Wales last Friday at Hive Stadium, and Rhona Lloyd complete the starting lineup in the back three positions.
On the bench, forward substitutes include Elis Martin, Lisa Cockburn, Christine Belisle, Eva Donaldson, and Evie Gallagher. There are three backs substitutes, including Leia Brebner-Holden and Lucia Scott, who made their debuts last weekend, and Helen Nelson.
