UNC Football: Chapel Hill welcomes back Max Johnson!

NFL

After sustaining a serious injury in the first game of the UNC football program, Max Johnson has returned to Chapel Hill.

After suffering a severe injury that ended his season in the UNC football program’s opening game, Johnson was eventually cleared to return to Chapel Hill. His father, Brad, uploaded the following post, which verified his return to North Carolina, while he was receiving treatment for his injury for two weeks in Minnesota.

Mack Brown and the UNC football team are undoubtedly pleased to have him back on campus. Brown thanked everyone who had assisted in looking after his quarterback during the past several weeks on social media, posting a picture of the two of them.

The worst thing about athletics is injuries like the one Johnson sustained since they have a huge negative influence on student-athletes’ lives. Since their families are an integral part of this journey alongside the student-athlete, it also has a negative impact on them.

Nobody wanted to see Johnson’s first football game with the UNC program end the way it did, and that included Johnson himself. The good news is that Johnson is back in Chapel Hill and prepared to go on his path to recovery with the goal of returning to the field in 2025, despite the sad way the cards fell.

It’s lovely to have you home, Max! I think I can speak for everyone when I say this.
