According to reports, Saudi Pro League teams are interested in signing Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus, 24, from West Ham United the following season.

The Saudi Pro League is reportedly interested in Mohammed Kudus, according to a report by the Spanish publication Fichajes. The teams may go on the attack to sign the 24-year-old forward away from West Ham United in the upcoming season, even though they have not yet formalized their stance.

The influence Mohammed Kudus had at West Ham
Following his August 2023 €40 million transfer from Ajax to West Ham United, Mohammed Kudus has been an outstanding player. The adaptable forward from Africa was raised in Ghana and is originally from Accra. Nevertheless, he became well-known when he was under Ajax’s influence. Additionally, he attracted admirers thanks to his performances for the Black Stars in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 24-year-old has improved tremendously over the past 12 months, scoring 14 goals and dishing out six assists to help West Ham United score 20 goals in the 2023–24 campaign. Although Kudus has only registered one assist in his five games this season, he has shown promise for the East London team.

Meanwhile, a number of prominent clubs throughout Europe have taken notice of Mohammed Kudus’s development at West Ham United. Several influential people considered acquiring the Ghanaian international during the summer transfer window, but ultimately, the move was shelved.

When does Kudus move in 2019?
Mohammed Kudus was successfully held by West Ham United over the summer transfer deadline, but his long-term future at the London Stadium is still up in the air. Next year, Saudi Pro League teams may try to wrest him away from the Premier League team.

The high-spending Middle Eastern teams have pounced on elite players from every major European league. In the past three years, the Saudi Pro League has seen the arrival of players like as Neymar, Sadio Mane, and Cristiano Ronaldo. In an effort to improve, the teams now wish to sign younger players.

Kudus is therefore a realistic goal, but given West Ham United’s position during the summer transfer window, getting the East London club to cash in on him will be a difficult task. It will be intriguing to watch if the 24-year-old Ghanaian international can be forced to leave the Hammers by any Saudi Pro League team the following season.
